Field Sales

This involves going out to meet new and existing customers to get a better understanding of their needs and way of working.  Field Sales Representatives are largely responsible for growth of existing accounts and fostering of new accounts, but also play a big part in looking out for ways we can make our customers’ lives easier – since they visit the ‘coalface’ every day.  They are the physical link that keeps us in touch with the marketplace.

Internal Sales

Pricing of enquiries, processing orders and keeping in touch with customers are the main tasks of an Internal Sales Representative, although their role extends a lot further than that.  They also work closely with the Field Sales Reps to arrange appointments and follow up on the visits.

Account Manager

Larger customers have an Account Manager as a key contact for pricing and any account matters.  They are essential to maintaining the best relationships with customers, really getting a grasp of each accounts preferred way of working, and then tweaking our processes to match.  Typically someone will progress to this role after gaining experience in Internal or Field Sales.
